JIP CONSULTING LLC (the "Firm," "we," "us") operates this website at jipcons.shop from its business address at 42 Botsford St, Youngstown, 44514, United States. The website was designed and built by the developer JIP CONSUL. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Site and the Firm collect, why it is collected, how it is used and shared, and what choices you have regarding it.

The Firm provides management and specialist consulting services — analysis, advice and written recommendations. This Site is an informational brochure and a contact channel: it is not an e-commerce store, does not hold client accounts, and does not process payments online.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you send directly

When you contact the Firm by email, phone or the engagement brief form, you may provide:

  • Your name and, where applicable, your organization;
  • Contact details — email address and telephone number;
  • The substance of your question or engagement — which may include business, operational, financial, personnel or technical details you choose to share;
  • Any documents, data or prior studies you attach by email.

The on-page brief form opens your own email client; nothing is transmitted to us until you press send in your mail application.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Our hosting infrastructure records standard technical logs when pages are requested: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages requested, date/time stamps and HTTP status codes. These logs are generated by the hosting provider and retained for security, abuse prevention and performance analysis.

1.3 Information we do not collect

This Site does not use advertising trackers, does not build behavioral analytics profiles, does not create user accounts, does not store payment card data, and does not use cookies for tracking purposes. Any cookies present are limited to strictly technical requirements of the hosting service, if any.

2. How We Use Information

Information submitted to the Firm is used for legitimate business purposes only:

  • Framing and responding — understanding your question and replying with a scoping response or brief proposal;
  • Performing engagements — analysis, research, coordination with specialists, and preparation of written deliverables you engage us for;
  • Record keeping — correspondence, proposals, engagement letters, deliverables and invoices retained for accounting, tax, insurance and professional-liability purposes;
  • Conflict checking — maintaining enough engagement history to recognize conflicts of interest before accepting new work;
  • Site security — hosting logs are used to detect abuse, attacks and errors.

We do not sell personal information, do not rent contact lists, and do not share submitted details with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Client Confidentiality

Information shared in the course of an actual or prospective engagement — including the fact that you asked about a topic — is treated as confidential client material. It is used only to evaluate, scope and perform the engagement, and is not disclosed outside the engagement team except as described in Section 4 or as a written engagement agreement provides. Confidentiality terms for a specific engagement are governed by that engagement's agreement; this Policy covers information flowing through the Site and ordinary business contact.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

Information may be shared only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — hosting (Firebase/Google Cloud), email routing (Spaceship) and similar infrastructure providers process data to deliver the Site and communications, under their own terms and safeguard obligations.
  • Engagement specialists — where an engagement requires field specialists (e.g., technical Branch F disciplines), limited engagement details may be shared with those specialists under confidentiality obligations, as the engagement agreement contemplates.
  • Professional advisers — the Firm's own counsel, accountants and insurers, as needed for legitimate business purposes.
  • Legal obligation — disclosures required by law, court order or regulator, or to protect the rights, safety or property of the Firm or others.
  • Business transfer — if the Firm's assets are sold or merged, contact and engagement records may transfer to the successor entity, which inherits the confidentiality obligations.

5. Retention

Correspondence and engagement records are retained as long as reasonably needed for the engagement, professional recordkeeping, insurance and statutory periods applicable to consulting work in Ohio. Hosting logs are retained per the hosting provider's standard schedule. When information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized where feasible.

6. Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information: access is limited to personnel working on the relevant matter, communications run over encrypted channels (HTTPS/TLS), and records are kept on secured systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send highly sensitive material by ordinary email before we have agreed on a transfer method — ask for a secure channel when engaging us on confidential matters.

7. Your Choices and Rights

  • You may decline to provide information — we simply may not be able to respond to or scope the question without it.
  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting anna.zhou@jipcons.shop. We will respond within a reasonable period, subject to legal and professional recordkeeping obligations.
  • You may ask us to stop contacting you; communications about an open engagement may still be sent while it is active.

Ohio does not currently impose a comprehensive state privacy law granting additional consumer rights, but we honor the access, correction and deletion requests described above for any visitor. California residents and EU/UK visitors may contact us to exercise rights applicable under CCPA/CPRA or GDPR where those laws apply.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site may reference third-party resources (professional bodies, publications, standards). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; review their policies separately.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is directed at businesses and professionals. It is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site or practices change. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
